🇪🇦🔐GUARDA estas 8 Cosas que nos hubiera gustado saber antes de mochilear por Nepal🇳🇵

1️⃣Hay que regatear para todo.
2️⃣La mejor época para hacer senderismo es Octubre. Hay menos contaminación.
3️⃣Efectivo siempre. Los ATMs tienen comisiones altas y a veces están vacíos. ATENCIÓN: No se aceptan billetes escoceses en ningún sitio💸
4️⃣Los permisos de senderismo son obligatorios (3000NPR=22USD) De momento, no es obligatorio contratar guías, pero pronto lo será.
5️⃣La comida es barata y mayoritariamente vegetariana. Prueba el Dal Bhat
6️⃣Las entradas a sitios patrimoniales, templos y miradores son mucho más caras para los extranjeros
7️⃣Las carreteras todavía están en construcción, así que un viaje de 100 km puede durar más de 7 horas 🚌
8️⃣¡Puedes cruzar de India a Nepal en bus! Nosotros fuimos de Varanasi a Lumbini:
➡️Tren de Varanasi a Gorakhpur, bus a la frontera de Sonauli y, una vez en Nepal, bus local a Lumbini.

1️⃣You have to bargain for everything
2️⃣The best time to hike is October. There's less pollution.
3️⃣Always use cash. ATMs have high fees and are sometimes empty. NOTE: Scottish banknotes aren't accepted anywhere💸
4️⃣Hiking permits are mandatory (3000NPR=22 USD) Hiring guides is not mandatory yet, but it'll be soon.
5️⃣Food is cheap and mostly vegetarian. Try Dal Bhat
6️⃣Entrance fees to heritage sites, temples, and viewpoints are much more expensive for foreigners.
7️⃣The roads are still under construction, so a 100km journey can take over 7 hours
8️⃣You can cross from India to Nepal by bus! We went from Varanasi to Lumbini:
➡️Train from Varanasi to Gorakhpur, bus to the Sonauli border, and, once in Nepal, local bus to Lumbini.

🇱🇰 Sri Lanka – La vida isleña se une a la aventura. Viajes en tren surrealistas, playas tropicales, caminatas con monos salvajes… ¡y todo con un presupuesto ínfimo!

❌ No reservar con antelación→ Reserva a través de la página oficial, WeChat app o trip.com
❌ No llegar pronto
❌ Caer en la estafa del "tour gratis" antes de entrar→ Si quieres tour guiado, resérvalo dentro. Es más barato.
❌ Tomar el bus turístico→ Mejor ve en metro a Huaqingchi (7¥) y luego bus (5¥).
❌ Olvidar tu pasaporte→ Sin él, no entras.
❌ Ir directo al Pabellón 1
❌ Saltarte el museo
❌ No seguir el orden correcto→Museo, pabellón 3, 2, 1 y luego la zona del mausoleo.

📌 It's Xingping Village, very close to Yangshuo. 📸 Don't miss its free viewpoint: Damian Mountain

💸 How to get there:
🚍 Yangshuo → Xingping: 1-hour local bus, 15 yen per person.
⛴️ Mini-ferry to the trailhead: 2 minutes, 10 yen per person.
🥾 Options for getting there:
➡️ On foot: 1-hour hike (free, but beware of fake charges).

We always dream of traveling the world with no return date, but we are not rich, so we work, save and sacrifice a lot to make it possible.

💼 Our life before traveling:
Laura arrived in London in 2016 and Andrés in 2017. We worked and grew in our respective careers in hospitality, but our dream was different.

💰 How do we achieve it?
❌ No parties and whims.
✅ Extreme savings and we only spent on specific trips and visiting family.
📚 We learned everything about traveling cheap and organized our trip.

🗺️1st trip:
In 2023 we started with a budget of €70 a day for both of us and we visited 10 countries in Europe. In the summer, we returned to London for 3 months to save more.

From Türkiye to Japan, living the adventure of our lives
