Best time to visit?
The only thing to keep in mind when planning your trip to Asia is the moonson season but it varies from country-to-country and there is not really a bad time to visit Asia.
The peak season would be from November to April as it is the dry season and most travellers prefer to go during this time. However, you will find better flights and accommodation prices during the moonson season, which is between April and September.
What you need to visit Asia
You will definitely need a valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months. But make sure you to check the entry requirements of the country you are going to visit when planning your trip!
In regards to the Visa, it will depend on the country you are planning to visit and the country you come from.
For example if you are planning to visit Vietnam:
- If you come from USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand or Switzerland, you will need an E-Visa
- If you come from Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain or Sweden, you will have a Visa-Free entry for 15 days.
Generally, for most of the countries you might not need a Visa for a stay up to 30 days. However, if you are planning to stay more than 30 days, then you will need one.
