Best time to visit?
The cheapest time to visit Europe would be during the shoulder season, from October to May, although there are many cheap countries that still allows you to enjoy a beautiful and affordable European summer.
It would also depend on the type of trip you are looking for. If you would like to see the Northern Lights, the best time to visit Northern Europe would be from October to March, however, it can be quite pricy as it will be high season for countries such as Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Findland and even the northern United Kingdom.
If you are a Christmas Market lover, you definitely will find some of the most amazing Christmas markets in Europe and depending on the country you are visiting, might be a bit pricy or quite affordable.
Definetly the peak season for Europe is summer. If you are travelling from May to September, remember to book your flight tickets and hotels well in advanced!
