Portugal
Portugal has a bit of everything for everyone from delicious food, well-known wine, lots of architecturally beautiful cities and cute towns, to an amazing coastline with beautiful white sand beaches.
It has a good climate during almost the full year, however, summer is the peak season. So if you want to visit Portugal on summer make sure you book your flights and accommodation in advanced as it can be quite expensive otherwise.
Portugal is also one of the perfect destinations for solo female travellers as it’s very safe. And it also has become the perfect place for nomads and ex-pats from all over the world.

Important to know
Starting from the first half of 2025, travellers will be required to fill out an ETIAS visa-waiver form prior to their trip, and pay a 7€ entry fee to travel to European countries within the Schengen Area. However, applicants who are under 18 and above 70 years, and EU citizens are exempts from this payment.
It’s a quick form that it’s linked to the passport and it’s valid for up to three years of until the passport expires, whichever comes first. But if you get a new passport, you need to get a new ETIAS travel authorization.
